Lucky Day

Hello, I'm back!

(I've been visiting with my sisters and nieces)

Here is a little collage using an old button card from my Aunt Jessie (the whole card cost a quarter; there is still a button attached); I love the lovely lady on the card, as well as the name "Luckyday"....it reminds me of a sign I made for my studio: "every day is a gift"...

Cheers,

Susan

newlyweds

Dear friends and family,

This is a small painting made from a photograph taken after our son's and new daughter's recent wedding on Onetangi Beach, Waiheke Island, NZ.

To me, this image represents the wonderful joy and exuberance of being newly wed.
Cheers,
Susan

Nelson seagull

OK, well, I can't find my first post, so I'll blindly continue with my second!

This is a painting of a seagull from Nelson, NZ doing it's thing whilst we dined on fish and chips on the pier.

Cheers,
Susan

beginnings

this is my very first daily painting!
I'm starting with a recent trip to New Zealand for my son's wedding.

These sheep were in a field in the Bay of Islands. I didn't get to go there, but my sister took the picture and I loved it.
